SPOTTED: COOL CORONA

Every time you spotted a classic Toyota bearing Sabahan registration number, you can make a quick guess that it is no more powered by a factory-stock engine. Last Friday had proved my sixth-sense when I saw this Toyota Corona RT80 sitting on nice pair of retro wheels, bigger exhausts and what is more attracting, it’s got an ‘olskool.org’ (currently known as olskool.my) decal. A few minutes of waiting had brought me to the owner, who is a nice guy from Sandakan and dumped in a Toyota A-series Twincam engine for his RT80. Glad to meet you bro, keep up the oldskool spirit!

GATHERING: MAYDAY THIRD ANNUAL MEET

While some of people from West Malaysia were busy catching sideways action of Formula Drift Malaysia 2012 at Speed City KL, the OCCC members could not missed up to have the same 'havoc' in Borneo. This event was actually held to celebrate third anniversary of the club, kinda surprised to know the truth that two sweet years had passed, with the increasing number of members and rides.

The guy of the pro photoshoot's ride, Asrol Ardi with his stunning KE70 coupe, next to infamous Mazli's Mango Sprinter.

Take a closer look at these two beauties, both coupe on nice offset wheels, tidy and attracting paint-job. If I weren't into KE25/TE27s, I am definitely will have a hard time to choose one of these rides.

Romy never fails to impress everyone with his JDM TA22 Celica, powered by 16-valves 4A-GE.

A good example of a properly done restoration job on first-generation Celica coupe, spotted a freshly installed ducktail spoiler to aid the traction.

Next to this TA22 was Kamarulzaman's Corolla DX, striking on 2K orange paint-job. Notice an uncle behind there with his clean stock C31 Laurel.

The car that makes everyone envy (especially me), all the time...

...and these two, for sure.

I'll be back with a lot more from Asrol Ardi's lens very soon!

EVENT: RANDOM SNAP AT MIRI BIKE WEEK

Some sneak peeks from last event, let's enjoy the pictures from Asrol Ardi's lens. Starting from this orange TA28, I won't get bored sitting at the corner the whole day and enjoy this view.

Rust is not a crime, but it is actually classic cars' best friend. Unstoppable, but you can slows it down.

Banana-type TE37 taillight is just awesome. Kudo's to the designer in 1970's.

You just cannot resist to like classic motorbikes, for how stunning they are.

When you cannot find many hot girls to enjoy their back view, these cars rear end will do.

The pamphlet of the event.

One of the coolest cafe racer that day. Single seater and raw naked look, could not ask more.

Ever wonder how does Napoleon GT fender mirror in box look like? Very lucky guy to find this New-old-stock aftermarket part.

Some must-have stickers for Japanese Nostalgic Car enthusiasts.

The pros of having spacious rear segment on liftback, you can bring a BMX around without the need of roof rack.

Custom front spoiler on fourth-generation Galant Sigma.

Well, you cannot deny to have a duck-tail spoiler for the sake of aerodynamics...

..when you are running on this.

The name says it all.

That's all for now. See you guys in next event.

EVENT: MIRI BIKE WEEK 2012 - THE RIDES

Rizal's KP30 Starlet. Fresh in term of bodywork and slammed ride height.

Joseph Ng's KE30 Corolla. Also fresh from oven.

Mat's Corolla AE80 looking cool on oldskool JRD wheels.

Let's pay our respect to the great great grandfather of Corolla. Leh brought his home garage KE10 this time.

Zul's Galant. Sexier with a customized front spoiler and a little slammed.

Another car with extensive improvement, the irresistible Asrol's KE70 coupe. New Work Equips, new Vilatoni California fender mirror, and new front spoiler.

Another new member, but an old timer actually. Meet Johnny Yong's AE86 coupe 4A-GTE powered, and also the owner of the legendary TE27levin.

Mazli's zenki Sprinter is getting hotter day by day.

The infamous Hanif Hazemi's KE35/TE37. Lost few inches on ride height and sitting on another set of SSR Longchamps.

If you guys remember, the incredible James' KE20 Corolla with new facelift. I have always envied the awesome-ness of his fender antenna.

Mazli had turned his TA28 into a more badass ride with rear JDM spoiler.

I cannot resist to like the personality of sifoo Nazri's Celica TA28. Simple yet attractive.

That's all for today. Enjoy your day!

EVENT: MIRI BIKE WEEK 2012

One of the most happening annual event in Miri was held last weekend, the Bike Festival and OCCC was invited to spice up the moment.

Starting with one of the hottest participant, can you get any more badass than a KE25 Sprinter on Enkei AP Racing, aftermarket ducktail spoiler and fender flares? I think not!

...and this was the deep wide Enkei AP Racing I mentioned before, it never fails to impress me, especially when it can hold up your phone safely.

Moving to a younger Corolla, this was a meaner looking KE70 Coupe with new Vitaloni California fender mirrors and front lips, now more menacing with Work Equip 03 all around.

When you are having difficulties in finding rear seat for your passenger, a pair of Hayashi Street L will do.

A moment later, the sifoo's orange Celica TA28 arrived. Charming as always.

Followed by these two brothers.

Leh KE10: I told you, your car need to go 1 inch higher.
Mazli: This is the highest I can go, and yet still scratching all road bumps in Miri.

At the parking lot, it is your lucky day to find an AE86 coupe on 10JJ wide steelies. Wild and unique? I say yes.

While this 4th gen Galant Sigma has become wilder with lengthened front spoiler and ready to force more air into the radiator.

Last but not least, thanks Asrol Ardi for these superb photos. Let's buckle up for this oncoming 20th May event!
