This is a set of photos showing the installation of my new
rear leaf springs...
January 11, 2003
Even though it was very cold outside (around 11 degrees F) I was able to
convince Gene and Mark to come over to help me put the new rear leaf springs
on the car.
The heated garage came in handy today!
Total time required: about 3 hours and 40 minutes, which included putting
all the tires back on, and sitting the car back down on the ground.
We were a little worried at first, as the car was sitting pretty high when
we first set down the rear end. But once we removed the jack stands from
the front too, it looked like everything was close to the proper height.
